ü   Emptying and cleaning commodes

ü   Assisting with skin care to prevent pressure sores

ü   Assisting with dressing/undressing

ü   Operating hoists

ü   Assisting with managing mobility

ü   Assisting with the safe storage and preparing of food and drink

ü   Assisting with eating and drinking (including dietary requirements)

ü   Administering and prompting of medication

ü   Collecting or returning medication from pharmacy or GP surgery

ü   Assisting in shopping

ü   Assisting with changing bed linen and bed making

ü   Assisting with cleaning and household tasks

ü   Assisting in laundry, ironing and keeping home clean and tidy

Our carers assist the Citizen in social activities such as going out for walk in the park, going to day centres or clubs, visiting families and friends or going to religious places.
